This Study aims to discover and document the clothing customarily worn by children during Malay head shaving ceremony (Cukur Jambul), a tradition observed Royal family. The is unique custom, relating birth of new baby into royal family Tradisi Agung custom. study emphasizes Mayer Schapiro’s theory style in context artefacts or material cultural objects. It applies qualitative method due its flexibility recording views informants relation observations. Specifically, this research considers collection photographs taken ceremonies. observation on continues uphold uses Songket (“The queen textiles”) most their ceremonies until today. Overall, will provide an invaluable source information about custom culture. be benefit family, researchers, academics, scholars, students, archivists, museum curators interested studying preserving subject tradition.
